Congratulations Phyllis & Bryan!

I know it's been a long time since I was last here...but it's been a loooong year. I'll get into some of that in later posts.
Anyways, let's focus on the more recent!  Back in June, I had the pleasure of doing make-up for Phyllis and her bridal party.  This was a fun group of friends, constantly joking and laughing throughout the whole morning.  You would never know it by first impressions, but Phyllis has a bit of a quirky side.  From the colourful undergarment that apparently she didn't mind exposing (I won't post those, lol), to the non-typical wedding shoes she wore (again colourful!), oh and did I mention the unbelievable amounts of beautiful d.i.y. crafts (I'm pretty sure she did all herself) that were perfectly organised ready to be taken to the wedding ceremony and reception? So much work was put into the planning that I wasn't surprised to hear that everything went well without a single hitch :)

Later in July, I held a Facebook contest to win a spa day for my 5 year anniversary.  Phyllis ended up getting drawn as the winner and a well deserved win it was as she and Bryan have not had the time to plan a honeymoon yet.  I hope the pampering helped her get by in the mean time!
